Bamboche opens its doors: a new popular restaurant to discover
A place to gather
At Bamboche, we have one simple idea in mind: to bring friends, families, neighborhood regulars, and curious visitors alike together around the same table. No complicated formalities, no endless menu—just hearty cuisine, carefully selected ingredients, and a warm atmosphere where you immediately feel right at home.
That’s the whole spirit of the “table populaire”: accessible, regional cuisine designed to be shared, in a place where you’ll want to linger.
What Awaits You on Your Plate
Right from the start, the menu sets the tone. For a light bite, start with the “petites fringales”—buttered bread, a platter of artisanal charcuterie, buttered radishes, or a selection of seasonal cheeses. Next up are the counter dishes: spreadable deviled eggs, Valoche pâté croûte, bone marrow crumble, or the famous Patates de Bamboche with their secret sauce.
As for main courses, the brioche croque-monsieur, cold beef, and Dombes sausage promise to make for some wonderful meals. And you simply can’t leave without dessert: the signature corn dessert, the crème caramel from our childhood, or the chocolate mousse served by the ladle round out the meal in style.
A wine cellar with a local focus
To accompany it all, a wine list that showcases neighboring regions: Beaujolais, Burgundy, the Rhône Valley, rosés from Provence, and festive sparkling wines, including the local Cerdon. Several wines by the glass, as well as house-made cocktails, craft beers, mocktails, and lovely non-alcoholic drinks so everyone can raise a glass.
